CTC Wholesale Terms

Please review our CTC wholesale benefits, terms, and conditions below. These terms are specific to Gracie Certified Training Center wholesale accounts, and no not apply to general wholesalers. 

  1. Exclusive CTC Wholesale Benefits:

    1. CTC Wholesale Pricing: CTCs will receive pricing of up to 50% off merchandise. Once you create and log into your CTC Wholesale Account, all the merchandise prices will adjust to the CTC Wholesale Price Tier.

    2. Free White Belts: White belts are usually purchased separately from gis, but as a CTC Wholesaler, all starter uniforms will come with an Official Gracie Jiu-Jitsu White Belt at no additional cost. Starter uniforms include: Rank Pearl Gi, Classic Gi, Classic Lightweight Gi, and the Women Empowered Set (FlexFight Pants and Pink Rank Rashguard).

  2. Inventory Level Visibility: Once logged into your account, you will be able to see real-time warehouse inventory levels for every item in the store. We highly recommend that you order when inventory levels are high because there is a chance that your order cannot be fulfilled if inventory is low. We make every attempt to keep accurate inventory, but it's possible that during busier seasons, the inventory levels displayed on the website don't accurately reflect what we have on hand.

  3. Early Access Section: For CTC Wholesalers, there is a special early access section where we include new designs that are not yet released or announced to the public. When you pre-order items from this section, we will ship them to you as soon as they arrive to our warehouse so you can stock your shelves and capitalize on the new release marketing blitz and promotions that we send out to the full GU/CTC students database.

  4. Promotion Participation: If you wish to participate and offer the same “free promotional items” that we give our online customers during Gracie Lifestyle Store sales, then you can purchase the promotional items at cost during a two week “Pre-Sale” period. It is a great way to participate and encourage students to buy from your CTC instead of opting to make the same purchase online.

  5. CTC Essentials: This section is where you will find exclusive items to help run your CTCs. Some items you'll find are Program Window Decals, Bullyproof Character Patches, Attendance Cards, Custom Promotional Items, and Custom Apparel (more info below). You'll also find Instructor Gis and Training Gear that is created exclusively for Certified Instructors.

  6. CTC Custom Apparel: We offer great options to customize Gracie Gear for your CTC. You will find the available options when you are logged in to your account. The minimum order quantity (MOQ) is based upon the design, so feel free to select from men's, women's, and kids' sizes to hit the MOQ. Please keep in mind that custom orders need to be placed separately and cannot be combined with other merchandise orders.   7. Payments: We currently accept payments with the following credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, Master Card, American Express, Diners Club, and Discover. We do not accept COD or payments through Digital Wallets (e.g., Apple Pay, Google Pay).

  8. Delivery: We make every effort to stock items for complete and immediate delivery. If you order when inventory levels are high, there is a good chance that your order will ship without delay. If you mix pre-order items with your order, the full order will be held until all items are available to ship. If you wish for an exception, you can reach out to wholesale@gracieuniversity.com to request a split shipment. This will require a shipping cost adjustment.

  9. Incomplete Orders: In the event that some item(s) is/are out of stock, we will offer an alternative item or refund and ship the rest of your order. If the item(s) is/are scheduled to be restocked, we will ship the missing item(s) upon arrival in the warehouse - usually within 4 to 8 weeks. For special requests concerning back orders please email wholesale@gracieuniversity.com.

  10. Damages: Any merchandise arriving damaged must be reported to our Wholesale Department within five (5) business days of receipt. Please email a description of the damage along with photos showing the damaged areas and packaging to wholesale@gracieuniversity.com.

  11. Returning Unsold Goods: Our philosophy with our CTC Wholesalers is simple: If you're not winning, we're not winning. Any unsold Gracie Lifestyle merchandise that has not been sold within 12 months of the purchase date may be returned for a store credit.

    1. To start a return, email wholesale@gracieuniversity.com with a list of the items that you wish to return along with the corresponding order numbers. You can find your full order history by logging into your account at gracielifestyle.com. For orders placed prior to Nov 13, 2024, you can find your order history by logging into your account on store.gracieuniversity.com. We will provide you with an RMA # to include in the return shipment.

    2. A store credit will be issued to you within 48 hours of our warehouse receiving your return shipment. Store credit will automatically be applied to future orders.

    3. To be eligible, items must be in new condition. The CTC Wholesaler will be responsible for the cost of return shipping for any unsold merchandise.

  12. Customer Service Procedures: As a wholesaler, you will be expected to provide good customer service to your students and customers. As such, we expect you to help resolve any issues with the support of the Wholesale Team. If your student makes a purchase and contacts HQ, they will be referred back to you in order to help resolve their issues since we can not verify their purchase through our systems.

    1. For exchanges, you should attempt to complete the exchange with your own stock on-hand. If you do not have it available, you can place an order for the requested item. If you choose not to place an order for the item, you should issue them a refund so the student can make a new purchase online for their requested item.

    2. For defective items you should capture an image of the defect and submit to wholesale@gracieuniversity.com, if you have a replacement item, we can issue a store credit for the defective item or ship a replacement item to the school. The defective item will not need to be shipped back to the warehouse once sufficient evidence has been provided of the defect.

  13. Non-Compete: In order to uphold the value of the Gracie Lifestyle brand, Gracie University has implemented a Minimum Advertising Pricing (MAP) policy. The MAP for all Gracie Lifestyle products is equal to the MSRP listed on the GracieLifestyle.com. Wholesalers are required to advertise at or above the MAP, unless an exception has been granted in writing.

Merchandise can only be purchased to be sold at your Certified Training Center. Sale of Gracie products on the internet or elsewhere is strictly prohibited. If you are found in violation of either of these, your CTC Wholesale account will be terminated.

  1. Sales Tax Exemptions: A resale certificate is a document that allows the purchase of goods from a supplier without the collection of sales tax based on the assumption the goods will be resold and the sales tax will be paid by the end consumer. CTC Wholesalers looking to make tax exempt purchases must have a valid resale certificate on file at the time of the purchase. Sales tax cannot be refunded or removed once an order is processed.

  2. Approved Sales/Discounts: CTCs may offer sales or discounts on merchandise under the following circumstances:

    1. In parallel with Gracie University site-wide discounts (discounts must not exceed those offered on GracieLifestyle.com, and must follow the same guidelines).

    2. In the event a brand new trial gi is returned, CTCs may sell these used gis at a maximum of a 50% discount.

  1. CTC Wholesale Account Terminations: CTC Wholesale accounts or any privileges associate with the account can be cancelled at any time if the wholesaler falls out of good standing with Gracie Lifestyle payments, CTC Licensing Fees and/or CTC FM payments, or if the CTC relationship with Gracie University terminates. Returns on merchandise for store credit will not be accepted after a CTC's wholesale relationship is terminated.  

PAYMENT TERMS

CTCs that are in good standing with Gracie University may order merchandise using Purchase Orders (PO's) with payment terms instead of paying at the time of purchase. This allows the CTC owners to begin selling the merchandise before they have to submit payment for the acquired goods. In order for CTCs to have access to payment terms, they must have a credit card on file in their account to be charged automatically on the delayed payment due date. We have two different Net Payment Terms:

  • NET 30-Day: For orders shipped within US/CANADA orders may be paid for up to 30 days after the purchase date.

  • NET 60-Day: For orders shipped anywhere else orders may be paid for up to 60 days after the purchase date.

  1. Limitations on Payment Terms: The maximum outstanding balance for a CTC is $2000, unless your account has been approved for a credit increase based on a history of repeat orders, timely payments, and adequate student counts to warrant the order size. To inquire about increasing your Gracie Lifestyle purchase credit limit, please contact wholesale@gracieuniversity.com.

  2. Removal of Payment Terms: Net 30 and Net 60 terms are applicable only to CTCs who are in good standing with all Gracie University Departments. We reserve the right to remove the 30- or 60-day payment terms if the CTC falls delinquent in their monthly licensing payments, or they have a repeated pattern of delinquent payments. We may also remove payment terms if the credit card on file is no longer valid and is not updated in a timely manner.

  3. Payment Collection: All payments must be paid in full on or before their due date. If they are not paid by the due date, the credit card on file will be charged for the outstanding due amount.

  4. Payment Process: The Gracie Lifestyle Store reviews all orders after they are placed. If the order exceeds the credit limit, or there are other concerns regarding your order, they may not be approved, in which case you will be notified. Upon approval, your order will be processed, and your credit card on file will be charged on the due date.

  5. Probationary Period: If you fail to make timely payments on Purchase Orders, you risk losing your payment term privileges. After your first late payment, you will enter a six-month probationary period where all orders must be paid for at the time of purchase. If you show financial reliability during this period, you may be reconsidered for payment terms at Gracie University’s discretion.

  6. Late Payments: Late payments are subject to a $35 late fee. Failure to pay invoices on time may cause payment terms to be removed and wholesale privileges terminated.
